The standard period of study for the Department of Division of Curriculum Studies and Teacher Education, Graduate School of Teacher Education Teaching, is two years. However, the School Leader Course has a "1 year completion program" and the Educational Practice Advancement Course has a "3 year completion program".
1-year completion program This program is aimed at currently practicing teachers who have obtained a license as stipulated by the Educational Personnel Certification Act. As a result of the screening, some of the practical subjects may be exempted, and this is a short-term course system that allows students to obtain a specialized license in one year. The exemption is determined by the results of a document screening, oral examination, and entrance examination.

It is preferable that the teacher be a member of the Board of Education or other organization.
Those who are certified by the results of the entrance examination, document review, and oral examination as having the practical, academic, and research skills to be awarded a master's degree in teaching (professional) after one year of study in the educational program at Graduate School Graduate School of Teacher Education.
Of the 10 practical course credits required for graduation, up to 7 credits will be exempted based on the "Exemption Examination Criteria" in the "Practical Course Exemption Regulations" (see Entrance Examination Guidelines), and the instructors who are deemed to meet the conditions for exemption and have been exempted from 5 or more credits.
3-year completion program This program is aimed at those who have or will have a kindergarten, junior high school, or high school teaching license and are aiming to develop a career as an elementary school teacher. Through three years of study at this Graduate School Graduate School of Teacher Education, you can obtain a first-class elementary school teaching license and a specialized license (those who have or will have a first-class elementary school teaching license cannot apply. Also, you cannot change to two-year completion (standard) midway through the program). In 2nd year and 3rd year, you will take the first- and second-year courses (excluding those taken in 1st year) of the Advanced Education Practice Course (two-year completion (standard)).
