The student volunteer group "Wan Team" Itabashi Campuswas recognized for its outstanding report in the student volunteer group activity report competition.

On Monday, February 3, 2025, the awards ceremony for the "2024 22nd Student Volunteer Group Grant Project: Call for Student Volunteer Group Activity Reports" hosted by the Student Support Center General Incorporated Foundation was held. The report "Support Activities that Expand Connections" written by "Wanteam," a student volunteer group from the Department of Department of Nursing of Faculty of Medical Technology Teikyo University, was selected as an outstanding report and was awarded a certificate of commendation and an activity grant.
The purpose of this activity is for the Center to disseminate information about the significance and necessity of the activities, as well as to support student volunteer groups that are engaged in social contribution activities through their free-thinking and initiative.
Wanteam, represented by this year's award recipient, Kubota Riko (4th year, Faculty of Medical Technology), was established with the aim of supporting children with cancer and their families, and was approved as a new organization this year to transcend the boundaries of other faculties, departments, and year levels.

Representing the group at the award ceremony were Matsui Hiroyasu (3rd year, Faculty of Medical Technology), Sato Mayu (3rd year, Faculty of Medical Technology), and Hiraki Kana (3rd year, Faculty of Medical Technology).The social gathering held after the ceremony provided an opportunity for the group to deepen their friendships with students from other universities and think about the future structure and direction of their group.
