On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, Teikyo University signed an agreement on collaborative research and collaborative projects with Fuefuki City, Minobu Town, and Fujikawaguchiko Town in Yamanashi Prefecture. In addition, Research Institute of Cultural Properties, Teikyo University signed an agreement on collaboration and cooperation with Fujikawaguchiko Town and its Board of Education.
Our university has cooperated with various municipalities through excavation of ancient tombs in Fuefuki City, gold mine surveys in Minobu Town, and investigation of remains at the bottom of Lake Motosu in Fujikawaguchiko Town, and this agreement aims to strengthen these cooperation systems. Through this, we have confirmed that we will cooperate in rescue activities and preservation and restoration of cultural properties damaged by disasters.
Our university will continue to strengthen ties with the local community and strive to engage in research and educational activities in cooperation with the local community.
