TOEIC? preparation courses by level and Japanese teacher training courses
The Faculty of Language Studies provides not only teaching license for English in junior high and high schools, but also support systems for preparation English in the civil service examination. We also offer a Japanese teacher training course to teach Japanese in international companies in Japan and overseas as well as "TOEIC? Preparation Course" tailored to students' level of proficiency.
TOEIC? is a universal test that evaluates English communication skills widely. The results are widely used as a selection criterion for corporate recruitment as an indicator of English proficiency. This course aims to improve the overall English communication skills as well as improve the TOEIC? score, and offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes. The course features step-by-step progression through learning tailored to each student's proficiency level and students who take this course are steadily increasing their scores. While solving both listening and reading questions, students develop practical vocabulary and grammar knowledge, as well as reading comprehension to understand complex sentences and the sound changes that occur in natural conversation.
Aiming to become a teacher from the Faculty of Language Studies
Japanese teacher training course The purpose of this course is to pave the way for employment in Japanese language education institutions in Japan and overseas, in companies doing overseas business, participation in international NGO activities and Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers, and volunteer activities for Japanese language education in various region and school. This course is established in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and a certificate of completion is issued when students complete the prescribed credits.
Dream support program for teachers For students aiming to pass the teacher employment examination, we kindly guide them on teaching profession, specialized education, essays, personal interviews, practical tests, etc., taking into account the tendency of questions of each municipality. Since the launch of "Dream Pro," the number of people who have passed the teacher employment examination has been steadily increasing.
